On Tuesday, some of the top players on the Bengals showed up to Great American Ball Park for the Reds’ home opener.
Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins were spotted enjoying the pregame festivities in Cincinnati. Several fans quickly noticed that Higgins had his left arm in a sling.
As you’d expect, that led to a ton of speculation about Higgins.

According to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, the reason Higgins has a sling on is because he underwent surgery to repair his labrum in March.
The expectation is that Higgins will be ready for action well before training camp in July.
#Bengals WR Tee Higgins — spotted with his left arm in a sling at the Reds game today — had his labrum repaired last month, per source. He’ll be ready well before training camp.

Labrum surgery might not be ideal, but at least Bengals fans won’t have to worry about Higgins’ status for training camp.
Higgins blossomed into a star this past season, hauling in 74 passes for 1,091 yards and six touchdowns.
The future is bright for the Bengals, especially with wide receivers like Chase and Higgins on the roster.
