Bengals vs. Raiders Predictions With bet365 Promo Code LWOSBONUS

October 30, 2024 by Last Word On Pro Football

Cincinnati (3-5) is a heavy favorite in their Week 9 battle against a struggling Las Vegas team (2-6) in this Bengals vs Raiders matchup. Joe Burrow and his team have suffered significant heartbreak this season, losing four of their five games by less than one score. Despite the slow start, the Bengals still hope to salvage their AFC Wild Card hopes as they take on Gardner Minshew and the Davante Adams-less Raiders in Cincinnati.

Joe Burrow and company are seeking to get their season back on track as they take on a rebuilding Las Vegas squad in this Bengals vs Raiders matchup.

Bengals vs Raiders Prediction

CIN Bengals 24, LV Raiders 13

The Bengals are well-positioned to continue their recent dominance (5-1 in their last six matchups) against the Raiders. Cincy’s offense was beginning to overcome Burrow’s 2023 injury, Ja’Marr Chase’s offseason contract holdout, and Tee Higgins’s early-season injury. However, a shocking 37-17 blowout loss at the hands of the Eagles brought any positive momentum to a screeching halt.

Thankfully for the Bengals, they can rebound against one of the worst teams in the NFL. Las Vegas currently ranks middle of the pack in passing yards (13th), second-to-last in rushing yards, 13th in passing yards allowed, and 20th in rushing yards surrendered to opponents (all in terms of yards per game).

Las Vegas has a few good playmakers in rookie tight end Brock Bowers and superstar defensive end Maxx Crosby. To quote Nick Furry from the first Marvel Avengers film, the Raiders are “hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned.”

Bengals vs. Raiders Best Bets

Brock Bowers Anytime Touchdown (+175)

With Adams no longer on the roster, the Raiders’ top pass-catchers include options like Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker, and DJ Turner. Running back Alexander Mattison has established himself as a modest receiving option since taking over as a starter. However, Bowers is the rare tight end who holds the clear distinction of being his club’s top playmaker.

Bowers will undoubtedly draw attention to Cincy’s defense. Thankfully, the Bengals are currently surrendering the 9th most yards to opposing tight ends this season.

The former Georgia superstar is positioned well to be his team’s first touchdown scorer (+1000) and post over 75 receiving yards (+125). However, you can lock in this anytime touchdown prop with confidence.

Jakobi Meyers Over 75 Receiving Yards (+300)

Meyers’ likelihood to eclipse 75 receiving yards is almost exclusively a game script argument. The Bengals are a heavy favorite in this matchup. Additionally, they are looking to bounce back from last week’s blowout loss.

If the Raiders are indeed down for most of the game, they will need to unleash a pass-heavy attack to try to keep pace. The former NC State Wolfpack star is the default #1 wide receiver in Las Vegas’ offense, averaging 54.2 receiving yards per contest. A pass-heavy Raiders’ game script should allow him to make a serious push to surpass the 100-yard mark (+850). Take the safer bet and lock in the +75 mark.
