The Chicago Bears‘ coaching search is already underway, requesting interviews with Brian Flores, Brian Daboll and Doug Pederson among others.
While there’s no indication as to who’s the favorite for the job, there are some rumors swirling that Chicago will try to make a run at two of the best coaches in college football.
Those two coaches are none other than Ohio State’s Ryan Day and Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh.
“With the Matt Nagy firing expect for the Chicago Bears to attempt to lure Ohio State’s Ryan Day or Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh back into the NFL,” Carl Reed of 247Sports said. “The NFL cycle starting to spin could have another huge effect on college football.”

ESPN’s Michael Wilbon would certainly be on board with the Bears hiring Harbaugh. During an episode of Pardon The Interruption, he stated his case as to why Harbaugh should return to the Windy City.
“Harbaugh was drafted by and played for the Bears. They threw Jim McMahon out of town to let Jim Harbaugh play the position. So Jim Harbaugh has history in that city, there’s love for him there. Come on down, Jim. It’s time. You know it because you can’t win in college, but you can win a Super Bowl,” Wilbon said.
The main priority for the Bears this offseason is that they find a head coach who fully believes in Justin Fields.
