It wouldn’t be a proper NFL season without some kind of controversy involving Antonio Brown. And he made sure to make it a proper season today.
According to Tampa Bay Buccaneers insider Rick Stroud, Brown was briefly thrown out of the team’s joint practice with the Tennessee Titans today. Per the report, during a one-on-one drill with Titans cornerback Chris Jackson, Brown ripped Jackson’s helmet off.
But that may not have been the only reason Brown was tossed. ESPN’s Turron Davenport noted that Brown and Jackson also came to blows a few minutes earlier.
The two went helmet-to-helmet after Brown accused Jackson of holding him during a rep. Brown then reportedly threw a punch at Jackson, and the two needed to be separated.
Brown soon returned to practice though.

Antonio Brown isn’t the only player getting heated at today’s joint practice though. Reports emerged that there was another fight just minutes later.
An unspecified Titans player and Buccaneers tight end Herb Miller reportedly got into it during a special transition period.
Another fight. This one during special transition period. Couldn’t tell who the Titans player was but Herb Miller was the Bucs player.

Clearly the Buccaneers and Titans are having a bit of a rough day working together. But they’re not the only teams that have been struggling to get along in joint practice.
Yesterday there was a fight between the Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers joint practice. Dozens of players swarmed and punches were thrown before things settled down.
