Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers had quite a performance on Thursday night.
Green Bay improved to 6-2 on the season with a blowout win over the San Francisco 49ers. The Packers blew out the 49ers, 34-17, on Thursday Night Football.
Rodgers was his usual brilliant self, throwing for 305 yards on 25 of 31 passes for four touchdowns. The 36-year-old quarterback now has 2,253 yards, 24 touchdowns and two interceptions on the season. His 86.9 QBR ranks No. 1 in the NFL.
The Packers star appeared on The Pat McAfee Show on Friday to discuss his performance. He had a pretty great quote about playing on Thursday Night Football. McAfee pointed out that Rodgers has consistently played well on short weeks.
“Pat, I’ve been good on Thursday nights, Sundays, Sunday nights, Monday nights…” Rodgers said with a smile.

Hey, he’s not wrong.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback is one of the best at his position in recent National Football League history, after all.
Rodgers will look to continue his great play in the second half of the NFL season. The Packers are 6-2 after eight games and very much look the part of a Super Bowl contender. Green Bay will look to improve to 7-2 next weekend with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
