For as long as Yankees star Aaron Judge has been asked about his baseball future, his answer has remained the same. He wants to be a New York Yankee for life.
On Tuesday, Judge was once again asked about what lies ahead.
“As long as I’m playing baseball, I want to be wearing pinstripes,” Judge said via SNY.

Continuing, “It’s been an honor and a blessing to be here – get a chance to play in this franchise – be surrounded by so many great players, and walk in the footsteps of so many other great players that’ve played this game.”
“There’s no better place to play on this planet and I strongly believe that, Judge concluded. “I’ve been vocal about that – I want to stay here in pinstripes. So if that happens, it happens. But, if it comes to it that it doesn’t – like I said before, I’ll enjoy my memories here.”
The three-time All-Star also said Tuesday that he and the Yankees will not be having contract discussions during the season. Instead telling reporters, “we’ll be focused on winning ball games.”

Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, Aaron Judge has been the Yankees’ brightest star. But injuries have slowed what could be all-world production in recent years.
That said, the rightfielder bounced back quite nice in 2021, regaining his All-Star form and slugging 39 home runs and 98 RBI on his way to a .287 batting average.
