Raiders Name QB Kenny Pickett Starter For Week 15

Raiders HC Pete Carroll announced that QB Kenny Pickett will start Week 15 against the Eagles, per Paul Gutierrez.  Ian Rapoport reported earlier this week that QB Geno Smith‘s shoulder injury was expected to keep him out of this week’s game and Pickett was expected to start against his former team.  Pickett took over for Smith when he was hurt last week. Raiders Call Up Two Players For Week 15

The Las Vegas Raiders announced they have elevated OL Atonio Mafi and WR Shedrick Jackson from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday’s game against the Eagles.  Mafi, 25, transitioned from defensive line to offensive line after two seasons at UCLA. Raiders News: Pete Carroll Believes In Kenny Pickett At QB

Late in the third quarter of the Las Vegas Raiders’ loss to the Denver Broncos, quarterback Geno Smith suffered a shoulder injury and did not return to the game. As such, backup QB Kenny Pickett finished the game for the Raiders and acquitted himself well, completing 8-of-11 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown.
