Multiple reports on Tuesday say former St. Louis Blues captain Alex Pietrangelo will sign a seven-year deal to become the newest member of the Vegas Golden Knights.
I’m told it’s $8.8 M x seven years for Pietrangelo in Vegas https://t.co/hVyz9OAzzw

The contract also holds a “no move clause”, which means the 30-year-old defenseman would be tied to the Golden Knights for the duration of the deal, currently the fifth-highest in AAV for a defenseman in the NHL. He played in 70 games last season, tallying a career-high 16 goals. Pietrangelo is a 12-year veteran, playing in two All-Star games and helped bring a Stanley Cup to St. Louis in 2019.
Pietrangelo arrived in Las Vegas on Saturday as he began shopping for new teams.
