LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for the UNLV Rebels football team has resigned, the team announced Monday.
Dan Mullen, head coach of UNLV’s football team, said Zach Arnett resigned from his position as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach due to personal reasons. Arnett was hired in December.
Paul Guenther, who coached 21 seasons in the NFL with five different teams and was a former Raiders’ defensive coordinator, will step in as interim replacement.
The Rebels will return to the field Tuesday for the sixth of their 15 scheduled spring practices.
